Used Compeed on Coldsores today

Hi everyone, I'm 37 weeks pregnant and have a couple of cold sores which are spreading. Last night I used Zovirax and today I used Compeed patches which I've now seen aren't ok to use in pregnancy and I'm really worried. Has anybody done the same and been ok? Thanks

I haven’t used them but it just says they haven’t been tested in pregnancy. The active ingredient, hydrocolloid, seems to be safe, but ask a doctor before using any more.

I used compeed for coldsores ages ago and had no idea until now that I wasn't supposed to. I've had no issues in pregnancy and my very active, growing baby is due in the next few weeks. I wouldn't give it a second thought.
