12 week NHS scan but 11 weeks

Hi all!

We just went for our 12 weeks NHS scan but was measuring 11+1 so couldn’t do any of the tests and was told to come back in a week. We’ve already had two reassurance scans, so 11+1 is bang on. Baby has a strong heartbeat and looks healthy. I’m not concerned, just wondering if anyone has had the same? 😊

Can't offer any advice, but suspect I will be in the same boat next week - 12 week scan next Thursday, but I know I'll only be 11+2. (We had an early scan which confirmed my thinking on dates was bang on.) Watching this thread with interest! Xx

Yes, had this both preganancies (currently 28w with my second).
They go off your LMP date and as I have a long cycle e.g. ovulate later than they'd expect, so they always send me too early.
This time round I was booked for 11+1 then 13+4.

It's a bit frustrating when you know your dates and aren't believed so need to find more time in your diary, and I was a bit worried if they'd fit me in again within the screening timeframe. I found it nice though, to see how much bubs had developed even in those couple of weeks 😊

Glad it's not worried you and hope all goes well
