first month of trying and period is late took a test yesterday morning and received this is it positive?

No. It’s too thin/grey/incomplete and the test looks saturated.
When testing collect a sample and dip a test in. Flooding the tests can cause false line.
Test in a day or two if AF doesn’t arrive. Good luck.

Thank you for your input, the test was actually a faint blue line within minutes of doing the test, the test looks saturated due to taking the photo too long after it was done.

I would say positive. The line would only show after a while but if it came up straight away I would say it’s a positive

No, too thin and faint for if you're already late on your period. By then you should be getting a stronger line, indicating the HCG levels are as they should be. I would retest tomorrow morning.
