25 weeks pregnant period type pains?

I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this, I’m 25 weeks + 1 day pregnant and yesterday and today I have dull period type pains. It’s not so much a pain, but a dull ache that you have before coming on your period if that makes sense.

Has anybody else experienced this? Is it normal? Not sure whether to ring my midwife but don’t know if I’m being dramatic as it’s no where near excruciating but is slightly there. I’m heading out for the evening to see a show with friends which is an hour away from home shortly so am slightly panicking.

It sounds like round ligament pain to me. Perfectly normal aching or stabbing pain in your lower abdomen/groin. It’s the ligaments stretching that connect your uterus to your pelvis as baby grows and gets heavier.
Had it with DD and already had lots of it this time too!
Check with your midwife though for reassurance, but sounds pretty textbook round ligament pain.

Are these on the sides of your uterus?
this could be round ligament pain due to your uterus expanding.
However if you feel it is ‘inside’ your uterus/tummy and more central phone midwife.

I had this at 28 weeks and it was round ligament pain. I’d call your midwife to be safe though
