Tentatively making this bus, as I don’t think there is one yet. Got the start of my BFP yesterday, and I can see the line developing today. Going to continue to test until AF is due. So far due 2nd Feb 😬 Anyone with me?

@MM013 I’ll be having a scan at 7 weeks. But that’s not until the 17th for me. In my 3 previous successful pregnancies I had a scan at 6 weeks. But EPU are doing this one a week later. Hoping it means I won’t need the internal scan though so that’s one good thin g about being a week later than normal for me.

@CharlotteRae yours definitely look dark to me! I know the anxiety. 🫣
I never get pregnancy symptoms.. I have one successful pregnancy and didn't have one symptom the whole way through. I did have other nightmare scenarios happen.. but zero symptoms. I know a few others who didn't get a jot. Don't worry about that xx

Isn’t it so weird that the whole time we don’t have symptoms, we wish for them for a little reassurance.. and then the second we get them we wish we could remember what it felt like to not feel sick constantly!

I’ve got one at 7 weeks this Thursday at epu! I’ve also had 5 weeks and 6 weeks 🤣

@ally62442 @BGxxx keeping my fingers crossed all goes well for your scans!
from past experience do you know what to expect at a 7 week scan? I’d like one for reassurance because ive had a few chemicals previosly. But going to be doing this private. So don’t want to waste money going too early if there’s not much reassurance I can get.

Looking for a bit of advice(:

Going by my first day of my last period, I should be 8 weeks 3 days. I went for an early scan today (for some reassurance) and they measured me at 5 weeks 2 days! They said everything was there and I saw baby but no heartbeat): he said I could be to early and the dates are off or something more sinister. He advised that I came back in 2 weeks for a check up.

has anyone had this happen when the dates were off? I’m trying to keep positive but it’s hard):

my boobs were sooo sore for the first few weeks but I feel like they are now getting back to normal): I haven’t had any sickness or anything just soo tired..I’m slowly losing hope!

any advice would be great xxxx

I’m sorry that you didn’t manage to get any reassurance from your scan.
they won’t know your dates until your next scan. I’m surprised they aren’t seeing you for 2 weeks as there is a chance your dates were correct but that you’re experiencing a miscarriage.
I would probably see if you can get another scan at 6 weeks because I think you’d be more likely to see a heartbeat x

Thank you @Anonowl - I've done a clear blue today and feel relieved at least today there was a strong line which came up straight away compared to the cheap internet strips.

Have you had a lot of losses with so many pregnancies? Must be super tough and understandable you are anxious- sending lots of sticky baby dust to you xx

I know its the worst feeling so anxious and not being able to share why! I was quite sick with my first so had to tell people quite early as couldn't really conceal it.
My clear blue weeks was also 2-3 weeks at 4+4 since last period so think exactly same as you! Was such a nice thing to see confirmed on digital screen had this weird paranoia just had a load of false positives on the cheap strips 😂

According to Flo I am 5+1 weeks today. I have minimal symptoms and it’s making me really anxious (sore boobs, tired and occasional nausea), I’ve stopped testing after I got my dye stealer but it’s not made me feel any less worried, just booked a private scan for 2nd July which seems ages away right now

@Honeybee1996oh I have been through something similar and it really is the worst wait! Similarly to you I had an early scan and thought I should have been further ahead so was rebooked for a later date, sat my next appointment there was a heart beat but unfortunately by my week 10 private scan it was discovered the heart beat had stopped around week 7. Was absolutely gutted! Hopefully your dates are just off and you’ll have a good outcome, best advice I can give is to accept all possible scenarios so you are prepared but don’t lose hope! Hope it goes your way X

@Honeybee1996 anything that affects your mental health while pregnant is worth a phone call in my opinion! I’m sure they’d be happy to see you for another scan in a couple of days

My 6 week one (6w2d) I saw baby and a very obvious heartbeat flickering! 7 weeks will be the same, just bigger 🤣

Did you track ovulation? And what date did you get your first positive test?xx

i have always track my periods but my cycle always varied between 28-31 days. My first positive was 11th May, it was very faint but I did do a clear blue digital on the same day and it came up with 1-2 weeks xx

I'm sorry you've had a bit of a vague scan @Honeybee1996 . They're so hard and I've been there so many times! From my experience.. the 2 week wait is a killer. I tend to pay for another scan 1 weeks time, just to "know". You'll know by comparing the measurements and if there's a heartbeat xx

Did they advise you to go to epu? If they didn’t I would contact them. It does sound like it might be a missed miscarriage xx

they said I can either contact EPU or book back in with them in 2 weeks. I just feel bad for wasting their time): I’ve had 2 miscarriages before and both have just sorted themselves out naturally, this time just feels different? So hard to explain xx

@Honeybee1996 it’s not wasting their time! And it gets your first scan out the way with epu sooner rather than later if you do choose to have medical or surgical management for the miscarriage xx

Hello! First time mum to be here!
Im 11dpo, 3weeks 5 days. I found out at 3 weeks 3 days and I’ve still got until Wednesday when my period is due. I had chemical pregnancy in March and started bleeding the day my period was due so if I get past that mark I’ll feel better.

I am planning to book an early scan but I don’t want to go too early when it’s a hit or a miss if theyll be able to see a heart beat.

When do you think is a comfortable week to get a scan?
