Tentatively making this bus, as I don’t think there is one yet. Got the start of my BFP yesterday, and I can see the line developing today. Going to continue to test until AF is due. So far due 2nd Feb 😬 Anyone with me?

Just an update, I have a scan tomorrow at 11.40, they don’t know if they’ll see anything with me only estimated around 5.5 weeks. But I’m happy they’re atleast investigating. Pain on the side seems a little worse today but i dont know if that’s just the lack of sleep that’s not helping too.

Ohh that’s reassuring they’re going to check what’s going on. Fingers crossed all is ok, keep us updated xxxx

I saw a gestational sac and yolk sac at 5 weeks 1 day so you should definitely see something unless your dates are really out!

They shouldn’t be hopefully! Last period was 25 April, and I usually ovulate slightly earlier than the typical 14 day after period. So I’m hoping not! Plus the 5.5 is what the flo app says, which has had my data for 5+ years so hoping it’s accurate lol x

firsttimemom99x · 03/06/2025 14:12

Hey 🥰 got my BFP today, not even due on my period until the weekend so feeling pretty nervous in the very early days! I’m due on Valentine’s Day which is cute

Mouche85 · 03/06/2025 17:00

Although I have a dog and she'll always be my first born (I've promised her)

Mouche85 · 03/06/2025 17:00

Hello, due the 9th and this is my first time!

We tried for a while and at 39 years old I worried about additional complications for this baby (i feel fit).

MM013 · 03/06/2025 17:07

Hello lovelies
Congratulations to all of you on your pregnancies!
Mind if I join? I found out last week and looks like I'm due 07th Feb. It feels too early to be excited, but I'm definitely excited and cautiously optimistic.
How are you all feeling?

blooshboon · 03/06/2025 17:38

I’m feeling terrible guys, i dont know if its the worry for tomorrow but the pains have felt so much worse today. And im cramping all over my stomach now. Nipples are super sore to the touch, and also my stomach feels so tight and heavy. I literally look 6 months already.

really hoping for good news tomorrow, hoping I am the 5.5 I think I am and we’ll be able to see everything in the right place.

MM013 · 03/06/2025 17:39

@blooshboonkeeping my fingers crossed for you! Hoping all goes well tomorrow 🤞🏽

Is anyone Not doing the line progression thing? I’ve had chemicals in the past so nervous at this super early stage but don’t know if testing every day actually helps me or makes me more anxious! Not to mention that even in my chemicals my lines progressed for quite a while before fading. Argh, I hate the first trimester.

BGxxx · 03/06/2025 18:19

@blooshboon i think it’s a good sign that your cramps are all over rather than just one place! I get major scanxiety though so I know how you’re feeling 🤣

It’s right sided pain also x

I am suddenly feeling crap. Like all of a sudden turned this evening, nauseous and tired.

Lines are still super faint on the tests. Hoping by Friday I get a really nice strong one.
I remember this anxiety from last time and I find it so consuming!
I’ve told my partner now that I might be pregnant and he is bricking it!

I’m testing until tomorrow when my period would be due, so 14dpo. Then I plan to stop and just keep faith! I’m also unsure if daily testing past that is gonna be good for me or not.. saying that, I’ve got a clear blue weeks test somewhere that I might just use at the weekend. But after that then I really think that’ll be it and I’ll just hope and pray!

Fingers Crossed they get nice and dark by the weekend for you!
when you say bricking it, do you mean about the testing being faint or generally about having a baby? Is this your first 😊

No this is our second….and not exactly planned. We were going to start trying in July/August so it’s not unwelcome, just a bit earlier than planned.
He’s just worried about the whole notion now understandably

It definitely makes me more anxious! I just wish I hadn’t tested until at least a week after my period was due.
I felt like this last time too

Sending lots of positivity for tomorrow!!

I don’t know if this helps, but I spoke to my midwife today and she said that growing pains and cramps are very common during the first trimester. The uterus is growing and adjusting inside, and that can cause sensations, but as long as it’s not accompanied by heavy bleeding, it’s usually nothing to worry about. She said that without me even asking. I have some mild cramping atm. I really hope everything goes well tomorrow!❤️ Sending hugs 💕

I did 11dpo to 17dpo and then stopped buying tests. It stressed me out so much and everything I read said a good line progression doesn't = a successful pregnancy.

Got ya! Totally understandable if the time frame in his head has now been knocked sideways. Least for you, you’ve kinda eliminated the ‘trying’ part that you’d have had later in the year! How are you feeling? X

I feel a bit out of body. I was so ready for number 1 that when I got pregnant it was just extreme joy (and worry and anxiety after multiple miscarriages earlier in life) but generally just extreme happiness.
this time I feel completely different. I’m not unhappy at all about it, just feel more anxious about my little one and how she’ll cope and how we’ll cope with 2 and how February is just not the month I wanted!
but trying not to be ungrateful!

how are you?

Welcome to anyone joining today - @firsttimemom99x@Mouche85 @MM013 and anyone else I’ve missed!!
Hope all goes well tomorrow @blooshboon. Is there something you can do tonight to try and take your mind off it?
I feel like I’m losing it at times waiting for my early scan next week. Keep having to just not let myself think about it and try and distract myself.
Thats going ok so far, especially being distracted by my older 2! DD1(3) currently doing handstands in bed and fidgeting. Anything to avoid sleep. 😵‍💫
Told my mum. She didn’t take it well. I think more based on her own experiences of having three. But she didn’t congratulate me, and seemed outwardly upset at the idea. Then apologised later for upsetting me. Still nothing positive to say though. My dad (almost to make up for it) was a sweetie. Feeling a bit shit since that though.

That’s crap of your mum, I’m sorry she reacted that way. Hopefully she resets herself and acts a bit more appropriately!
