32 weeks pregnant. Baby 4 and never experienced anything like this

in the last 3 weeks I have gone through at least 15 aura migraines which involve me losing my vision, my speech is either slurred or none and one side goes numb followed by headache. I have a 20 month old and am
a sahm and with no family around so not being able to function for sometimes 3 hours some 30 hour has been hard. I ended up in mau and being admitted for 3 nights last week . Had mri and am now on 2 different medicines but seem to make me feel very tired and not with his on top of migraine hangovers or attacks. I am starting to struggle to look after youngest as I feel so ill. Oh is stressed and doesn’t know what to do. Has anyone experienced this?

Not on this scale but the hormonal changes of pregnancy did cause me some increase in migraine activity - the way your post is written I take it you are a migraine sufferer (you sound knowledgeable)?

I think your body is saying “slow down”.

Hydration, regular healthy meals and snacks (avoid sugar crashes!) and sleep/rest, it’s all I know that really helps.
Possibly a massage or see a chiropractor? Sometimes migraine is caused by a physical misalignment … grasping at straws!

Also - you are 7 months pregnant and looking after 3 other kids without much family support nearby… that’s a lot. what’s happening over half term?

Could you (afford to) let a local childminder have the youngest dc for a few days a week until baby arrives? Or ask a family member or friend to come and stay for a few days?

I'm assuming your blood pressure was measured in hospital and urine dip was protein- free, or thereabouts?

hey OP, sounds awful. I have been similar since 10 weeks (im 17+5). I usually suffer with migraines anyway but not to this extent. My blood pressure has been measuring high though and iv been put on a blood pressure tablet. I have noticed since been on they reduced but not completley stopped. I also think the weather is doing this to me, could you be the same? Its absolutely miserable though so i really hope it ends quick for you!
also- i understand OH is stressed but he really needs to help you as much as he can as you definitely need the rest. the stress of worrying about everything will only make you worse.
