Hi, I am 10 weeks tomorrow. I have just gone to the toilet, wiped and saw this (pic attached, sorry tmi!). It’s scaring me a bit, I had some more aswell which was like stringy jelly, it’s like a brown colour. Has someone ever experienced anything similar? Thanks x

From my experience brown blood can be due to a sensitive cervix. I had it in my healthy pregnancy.

In another pregnancy, it didn't stop and wasn't such a positive outcome.

So ask some advice from your midwife but it can be very normal I was told! Especially if it stops.

Okay thank you! I did check & they told me it can be normal and to just monitor. In your bad outcome, was it more fresh blood or still brown? Thanks x

It was brown for a really long time and I lost her in the second trimester.

This is very unusual though and it turns out I had a clotting condition!

With my healthy pregnancy it just happened a few times on and off. I know the sinking feeling when you see it! Has it stopped? x

Oh I’m so sorry 🤍 & yes it’s slowly slowing down! I’ve booked in a private scan for Thursday so hopefully stops me stressing a bit lol x

When I was going through it, I read loads and loads of success stories if that helps.

If it's been going on since yesterday, i'd maybe call the early pregnancy unit and they can check for cervical erosion and some other potential causes. Scan's are great but don't always get a look at what's going on x
