Mama Mio Products

Hi all,
I recently tried to repurchase some Mama Mio products, only to find that the brand has unfortunately closed down. I noticed that Liquidation.store still has quite a bit of Mama Mio stock available at bargain prices, so I decided to give it a try and ordered the Tummy Rub Butter.

It’s arrived and appears to be genuine, but I’m still feeling a little unsure. Has anyone used the Mama Mio Tummy Rub Butter before and can confirm whether it usually comes with a protective seal? Even better—has anyone purchased Mama Mio products from Liquidation.store and can vouch for whether the stock is legitimate?

Thanks in advance!

I had the exact same thoughts… I’d thought I had bought enough of the Mama Mio stretch mark cream to last the whole pregnancy but I ran out! I’d seen the bump butter on the liquidation store but I hadn’t heard of the store itself before that.

I’ve had such bad luck in the past buying non-genuine toiletries from Amazon that I just decided to get some of the My Little Coco Bump Butter from Boots instead, and it is a similar consistency on your bump to the Mama Mio cream (I just can’t stand oils on my skin!)

Sorry that isn’t much help about whether your product is genuine - maybe do a patch test somewhere and wait 48 hours to see if you get a reaction before you use it on your bump?

X

Hi I purchased the tummy rub from liquidation store and arrived exactly the same as the stuff I originally had from Amazon back in November. I've been using it and I can't notice any difference , seems the same to me and came in same box with seal as well under the plastic cap.

Should say back in November I saw it in John Lewis after I'd purchased it from Amazon and was exactly the same, so presume the stuff I originally had was legit. Anyway seems to be working a treat! Smells so good too

Thanks so much! The Trustpilot reviews for Liquidation Store seem good so I imagine the products are genuine. The tummy rub butter didn’t come with a protective seal under the cap which has made me a bit dubious. But it smells lovely and has a batch number etc on the box and the jar… I have reached out to THG (the company who took over Mama Mio) to see if they ever did sell stock (maybe older stock) without a protective seal.

Thinking about it now I'm not even sure if it did come with a seal, brain is mush these days so who knows 😂. Hopefully they will reply, good luck!
