Could i be pregnant

So i stopped taking my contraception pill around 5 weeks agk. Had a break through bleed about 2 weeks ago.

Past couple of days felt not great emotionally. Took tests BFN.

This morning felt fine then was out shopping had to run to toilet with diarrhea ( sorry). Now at home on sofa with a bowl feeling very sick & just not right.

Could i be pregnant?

Sounds like you have a sickness bug OP, diarrhoea & vomitting.

Test in a couple of days with first morning wee and a red dye test. If negative then next cycle perhaps start tracking ovulation to get a better idea of where you are in your cycle while it settles down post birth control.

Its definetly not a sickness bug. Never been sick. Got a bad head and just feel off but now eating. Should have said boobs also been sore

Diarrhoea isn’t a pregnancy thing really, that plus feeling off food would make me think it’s just a bug.

Sore boobs would just be pre-period, nothing screams pregnant to me about what you’ve said it does sound more like a bug. To be sure take a test

I had an awful bug two weeks ago (just diarrhoea) was poorly for 5 days, felt a bit sick and off my food as well as the loose stools. still ate occasionally when I fancied something. It’s probably just something like that. Hope you feel better soon

A sickness bug doesn’t mean it’s mandatory you physically throw up. It just pretty much means either a virus or bacteria has upset your stomach. Some people throw up much easier than others. Me and my husband started to feel ill at a similar time a few years back. He was puking his guts up for a few hours. Whereas I ended up on the loo for days with the runs. It just affected us slightly differently.

The fact you are sitting feeling very sick with a bowl (which means there’s the possibility you feel you might be sick) it could easily be a sickness bug/upset stomach that doesn’t mean you throw up this time. Feeling very sick but managing to keep it down can still be a bug.

Your hormones will be all over the place with coming off the pill so I also wouldn’t think sore boobs can be counted on as a sign of anything. I get sore boobs every month after ovulation until period. For me when I’ve been pregnant they felt exactly the same as every other month.

There's always a chance, but your symptoms aren't screaming pregnancy to me. But take a test in a few days to check

I didn't have much time to type exactly what is going on as have a 1 year old & we are currently calving.

I have also had a couple of days of creamy lotion discharge which I get when pregnant. I have also been feeling really queasy with certain foods.

Well all you can really do is wait and see. Obviously if you have unprotected sex there is always the chance you could be pregnant. And generally if your HCG levels are high enough to cause symptoms they should be high enough to show on a test. But until you miss a period and get a positive test no one can really say either way. People can only say their opinions that they don’t think your initial symptoms meant pregnancy at this time.

You’ll have to wait and see. Diarrhoea was my first clue to my first pregnancy, which prompted me to test. Hormonal fluctuation can cause loose bowels, the same way it can cause constipation. That said- it could just be a regular old bug/something you’ve eaten. Wait a few days and take a test.

Your tests are negative. So… unlikely.

@Chicken5ausage you don't always get a positive test straight away. I do have children so I do know what it's like to be pregnant.

Sorry OP but I don’t quite understand why you posted, if you have had unprotected sex of course it is possible you are pregnant, but no one is going to say yes you definitely are, they’re going to give you their opinion which you asked for.

@4kids3pets so I am not allowed to ask people's opinions? Funny how so many people said diarrhea isn't a symptom yet further up someone said they had it.

But people are giving you their opinions (unlikely pregnant) and advice to teat again in a few days and you are just coming back with more each reply to counter that.

I don’t really know why you’re being so abrasive OP, because people aren’t telling you you’re pregnant?

if you’re having symptoms it’s because you have HCG in your system. If you have HCG in your system, you’ll have a positive test.

your test is negative and you had a period two weeks ago. If you’re pregnant you fell pregnant like, yesterday, assuming a 28 day cycle. No symptoms, no positive test. that’s just science.

I wouldn’t panic, it doesn’t sound like you’re pregnant. Maybe it’s the calving that is putting that thought into your head! Nausea from pregnancy etc., is caused by hormones in your system that would be picked up by a test (as a PP has explained), so it’s very unlikely to be that if you have a negative test.
