Milk (sour smell)

Hi
I just bought some carton milk and I’ve noticed every few packs does have a scent to it. I am not sure if it’s gone bad and it pours fine - no clumps and no color changes, no taste changes that I notice with cereal.
It is Arla lacto free, I’m just worried about listeria if it has gone off? It is a pasteurized brand but would drinking it have been a risk?

thanks!

When I was pregnant I had to drink from a freshly opened bottle every day as the milk from the day before had a weird smell that would make me feel ill. Your hormones often make you more sensitive to smell when pregnant. I doubt it would have gone off.

It's not listeria.
Try a different brand.

I get through litres of this every month and I'm currently 39 weeks - never had any illness or issues x

Thanks, I’m wondering if it’s hormones. It’s such an intermittent thing. Like some new cartons smell, some don’t.
