41+6 feeling a failure?

Morning all,

Any other experiences of feeling like your body has failed them?

2nd pregnancy and currently 41+6 booked in for induction after sweeps. Very strange feeling as 1st pregnancy was a week early! Had PROM so was induced with DC1 and wasn't a pleasant experience in the slightest! (Ended up in Neonatal) Have been differing the induction for over a week now and feeling totally exhausted with all the questions/comments and advice from outsiders.

Any experience of better inductions second time around?

3 weeks early with no 1, 2 weeks late with no 2. She was a very easy birth.

Did you go into labour naturally?

I can't help with direct experience as I wasn't overdue but was induced because of GD at term and had a very positive experience. Your body knows what it's doing this time and both your body and your baby should be ready to come! Hopefully it will all run super smoothly for you.
