I’m currently 39 + 4 days and I have no signs of labour at all! Apart from a very painful pelvis I have nothing. šŸ˜’

How early did you see signs before heading into early labour? I feel like I’m driving myself crazy, I’m so sick of feeling so achy! 😣

thank you everyone!

I feel your pain!

I keep reminding myself that due dates are just an estimate and anything into 42 weeks is normal.

stay strong!

With my first my waters broke but before then had no signs. Second no signs till I got my bloody show and was already in labour. Third I had contractions on and off for a week till finally proper labour, contractions went straight to 5 minutes apart and he was out in 3 hours. Every pregnancy is different so it doesn't matter what anyone says here. The baby will come when they're ready, which is usually way after we're ready I'm afraid šŸ˜…

I’m 38+6 and feel the same! I had a sweep yesterday* and nothing yet. I think I had about two Braxton Hicks in about 10 mins last week but nothing more. Seem to be on more of an energy level and emotional rollercoaster in the past few days but I don’t know if that’s a sign.

*consultant was keen to induce me at 39 weeks due to age but I’d rather go into labour naturally, so sweeps until 40 weeks are our compromise.

I should add - am doing all the old wives tales (rasperberry leaf tea, dates, pineapple, kerb walking, walking, sex/cuddles for oxytocin) and none of them are having any impact either - which I didn’t really expect but…

I did all of the old wives tails from 37 weeks and I don't think it helped lol. I did have him at 39 +1 but I had my first at 38 +1!

I had signs just the night before, backache, tummy ache and feeling a bit off. Woke up at 5am to my waters breaking, baby was here just got 12.30pm! Xx
