I’m new to MumsNet, we started IVF in November as I have PCOS I’m 26 and healthy apart from the PCOS issue.

We did the pregnancy test on 5th May and it was positive did a standard clear blue as this was given to us and then a digital one that said 1-2.

i have had some spotting a week after this which was fine and tested again on the 9th May and again was positive saying 1-2!

since this Sunday (11th May)) I’ve had some more spotting that’s been a little more there and pinker. Today 13th May it is still light pink and I’m just so worried that something is wrong!

Has anyone else experienced this - is it normal and I’m just being a worry pot?

Any advice would be amazing as I’m going out of my mind with worry x

I have had 2 (successful!) IVF pregnancies. In both i had lots of spotting, including v red. I thought that was it. I messaged my consultant in a panic and he just calmly told me to keep taking the progesterone I was on. As soon as I could have a scan I did, and they were fine. I had this on and off for several weeks. every time I thought that was it, but they stuck in there! Now healthy 2 and 4 year olds.

Whilst obviously that doesn't mean it is al2ays the case, it also shows it isn't necessarily an issue - esp asbyour bleeding sounds a lot less than mine.

Good luck!

I’ve messaged my consultant too and I’ve been a crying wreck this morning!

Thank you so so much that’s helped calm me a little I have to wait 2 weeks for my early scan and I just know I’m going by to constantly worry until that!

Thats wonderful that it’s worked for you twice! We are very lucky it’s stuck and is positive the first time! Xx
