.....should I be worried? Midwife didn't seem overly concerned. Baby isn't engaged yet but is back to back like my DD

Was sure this baby was a boy as well, but now I'm measuring smaller think it must be another little girlie....boys tend to measure bigger don't they?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

its perfectly normal to be few cm out under or above i was always above but baby wasnt very big i had boy 7lb 1 oz

bubblagirl · 19/05/2008 18:16

also if baby uis abck to back its less likely to be showing so much at front anyway either way you have a little baby to look forward to boy or girl still a blessing

pootleflump · 19/05/2008 18:19

is there a guide to what you should measure?

FrannyandZooey · 19/05/2008 18:22

no it is a rough guide
I was 3 cms OVER a few weeks ago and now am bang on
if midwife not worried then please don't be
position of baby makes a difference, also

bubblagirl · 19/05/2008 18:32

my midwife said you can have 4 cm difference before they start to worry your cm should be same as how many weeks you are

i was 30 wks measuring 34 had to be monitored next visit 4 weeks later i was spot on no growth in that time

wouldnt goexactly by measurements as i was about right fo rmy last one and a couple of times smaller towards the end but then had a huge baby..11lbs and 60 cms long..they didnt guess that one right did they?
