Fast strong positive line-does it mean anything

I just found out I was pregnant last Thursday. When I took the test (in the middle of the day) the positive line appeared FAST (I literally watched it develop almost immediately) and super strong/clear line. I actually done a second test as thought it must be faulty.

I just wondered if it means anything? First day of my last period was 3 April so not far along and I was always under the impression that line would be faint early on?? Or am I overthinking?

You're already over 5 weeks pregnant, so quite a while since ovulation and conception! Hcg had the chance to rise to a good level and that's why you've had a great strong line. Congrats!
(Or twins 😂)

Thank you... it is because I am 99% sure baby was conceived over the Easter weekend which doesn't seem long ago.... but someone helpfully explained about working out from 1st date of last period rather than conception date... I just don't feel very far along but it is all learning :) thank you for replying xx my MIL is a twin so I did wonder 😵😂

Most tests these days are very sensitive so by the time you’re due on your period most people get a very obvious fast positive. Faint lines tend to only happen if you’re testing the week before you’re due on.

ps, twins can only run in the female side of the family. The man has no influence over twins. Only the woman.

I got dye stealers - positive line came up wayyyyyy before the control line so much so I thought the first was a dud test with my first two pregnancies testing approximately 5 days late! The first gave me my daughter so definitely a singleton pregnancy, I miscarried the second before any scans so I don't know about that.
