Hi all! Tried to ask for some advice elsewhere but no look :/. Im 9- 10 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby. I literally used ti eat everything in sight and now im having like 1-2 meals a day and some snacks. Scales have said ive lost weight but my body looks like ive gained like 2 stone. It probably the worst ive ever looked. Ive been told bloating which when i eat heavy meals it does look bigger which happens to me non pregnant… but i just feel like maybe this could be a bump im not sure i just feel massive. With my last 2 boys i didnt show til around 13/14 weeks with my 2nd and 14-16 weeks with my 1st.

any advice or any factual information as to why this is would be much appreciated and would help to tey ans stop me constantly looking at my body and getting myself upset.

(ive always had a mum tum but never this bad)

I started showing around this time too. Everyone said it “must be bloating”, but it only got bigger and more established. 😂 I’m 36 weeks now and having a reasonably big baby. Every pregnancy is different. This was my first! And yes, my bump has always looked slightly bigger after big meals / in the evenings - certainly in the first and second trimesters. I think that’s quite normal as have heard many people say the same. Once in my third it was just generally big at all times. 🤣 No practical advice for the body image anxiety, I’m afraid, except to say that your feelings are valid, BUT do try to remind yourself what an amazing, wonderful thing your body is doing, creating a safe home for your little baby. Congratulations!
