Hey,
So I had a private scan done today due to having stomach cramping (been to triage previously) just wanted to know baby was okay. Lady who scanned me said baby was fine, heart sounded fine, so did placenta, head and femur measurements were normal, however babys abdomen was measuring on 98th percentile, she didn't seem too alarmed just told me when I see my consultant on Monday to mention it as I may need a gestational diabetes test and further growth scans. In the meantime I've thought back now to how 3 weeks ago the gp believed my son to have slapped cheek syndrome due to a rash, I had my bloods taken which showed I wasn't immune but also wasn't carrying it at the time, I've got more bloods tomorrow to make sure I hadn't picked it up after my last lot of bloods, however I forgot to mention any of this to the lady who did the scan and now I'm worried thinking maybe babys abdomen is enlarged due to the slapped cheek and possible hydrops? I know it might sound ridiculous but it's all I've thought about since getting home. I've included babys abdomen image, please help any advice or guidance is welcomed.
