TTC 10 dpo help .. symptoms new

Hi

Hoping someone can help as feel I'm going mad!

We have been ttc for almost 2 years. Unfortunately last year we had a misscarriage and eptopic. Since then we have been TTC for the last 10 months with no luck :(

This cycle i have started lots of supplements recommended for someone with possible low progesterone. I do get spotting sometimes before period. However this tends to be more dark brown red.

Fast forward to this cycle. I am now 10 dpo and have had some very strange symptoms, ill explain them below. These symptoms I've never had in my life before or in any of the pregnancies.

I do potentially have low progesterone (which I will be prescribed next time I'm pregnant) and I have a luthutal phase of around 11 days which I know is on the shorter side. Taking supplements to try help this with folate, ashwagandha, magnesium, omega 3, prebotic, vit d.

From
1 dpo the most intest intergestion & trapped wind I've ever had
2 dpo intergestion
3 dpo intergestion
4 dpo intergestion
5 dpo intergestion
6 dpo intergestion and wind
7 dpo intergestion and wind plus brown discharge spotting a tiny amount plus cramping on and off
8 dpo a tiny bit of brown/yellow spotting and period style cramping / intergestion on and off
9 dpo a tiny bit of brown/yellow spotting and period style cramping on and off / intergestion after food
10 dpo tiny brown/yellow spot of discharge and period style cramping plus twinges low on right side / intergestion on and off

What I'm finding odd is the intergestion which keeps appearing on and off and I've never had this before ever or is this due to new supplements?

My other two pregnancies I found out 3 days after missed period (i was much calmer about tracking back then) and waiting for more symptoms. I also remember this kind of strange spotting with them which one lasted 1 day and one lasted 3 days.

This evening I've taken a digital clear blue weeks indicator test (it's all i had at home) which has come back not pregnant. Is it to early or am I not pregnant and this is cruel PMS!

My question is am I going mad or am I possibly pregnant? I know it's most likely a waiting game now but wondered if anyone had this before?

If anyone has experienced similar please help a girl out who is going mad 🤣🙈 xx

If it's only 10dpo it may well just be too early.
Do you mean indigestion? That could be due to supplements or stress or anything really!

Wait 2 days and do a pink dye test with FMU 👍

Thanks for the reply :)

Sorry yes I mean indigestion 🙈 it's been a long day!

Yes that's true, what's odd though is it started the tablets 4 weeks ago & the indigestion did not start until I was 1 dpo? It's very odd!

Yes now as I say this my tummy's cramping a little more Intense.. but in small waves.. i just have a really full feeling ..

is it all in my head though :(

Just so deflated thinking I'll never become a mum!

I don’t have any specific thoughts on your symptoms, but I was wondering - has anyone advised you to take ashwagandha? When I was TTC, I remember coming across some information suggesting it should be approached with caution. Research on it is quite limited, and there were some indications it could increase the risk of miscarriage. I’m not sure if that’s still the current guidance, but I thought I’d mention it just in case.

One thing I did take that you’re not currently using is CoQ10, which is meant to help with egg quality. I also took a fertility multivitamin, along with vitamin D, omega-3, and a probiotic.

Really hope you get your positive soon. TTC is such a mentally challenging time. Sending you lots of support.

Thanks for the reply @Alwayscoffeefirst :)

Thank you that's really useful. Annoyingly it was a fertility specialist that recommended it to me to help with estrogen / progestone balance but I am on the side of caution with it and will likely stop this as it makes me feel really anxious especially with my misscarriage history. It is a lower dosage but a risk I'm not sure i can take right now.

My tummy cramps have got a bit worse, on & off but I'm pretty sure it's AF now which is due tomorrow. Which in a way is better so I can forget about this again this month.

Just kind of feeling rock bottom & I do wonder if I should step away from this all for a while as it's mentally draining me month on month & the longer it goes on the worst it seems to get x

10dpo is too early for a weeks indicator unfortunately! You’d need a first response early results one which is the lowest sensitivity. With your symptoms it’s entirely possible they could be early pregnancy. But also unfortunately they can also be hormonal. Indigestion and heart burn is a by product of many different things, one of course is pregnancy but it can also be a nasty side effect of normal hormone fluctuations. Our minds do play tricks on us when we want to conceive and some months PMS is just worse. It’s awful to wait. But I think it’s too early and you can’t rule either option out. Keep us updated! Sending baby dust xxx

Thank you @jelliebean9 that's very true! I shouldn't have done the test as it's made me feel even worse. I was getting so good at not testing until I was late but as we are almost another year down the line I feel myself worrying even more - which probley isn't helping! Catch 22 right!

Some members of my family are now having second child & i can't even keep one pregnancy..

I am in two minds if I should just stop tracking so intensely, but I'm so worried we will miss the main fertile days otherwise. It's really starting to take a toll on me though.

I'm pretty sure it's am out this month but I'll keep you posted :) x

I’ve had two missed miscarriages with a long stretch of TTC after the first one, so I completely get how you’re feeling. It’s such a rollercoaster, waiting for the ovulation window, getting hopeful that maybe this is the month, then the stress of the two-week wait, Googling every symptom… and then that slow realisation it is not going to happen again, followed by the disappointment and sadness when your period starts. Then you reset and go through it all over again. It’s exhausting, and it takes so much strength to keep going.

Supplements usually take around 3 months to have an effect, so it might help to just keep taking them and try to relax (I found this impossible) in the meantime. I found ChatGPT really helpful for an easy overview of a fertility boosting diet with easy ideas for meals. I also got my partner on fertility vitamins too.

After my first MMC, my luteal phase was a bit short as well but it did eventually settle. I’m not sure if the supplements helped, but they were the only change I made. I took 600mg CoQ10, which is recommended — though it gave me a headache at first, so I started with 200mg and worked my way up.
