Line progression

hi all,

I am 5 weeks 2 days from ovulation. My lines was steadily getting darker however today’s seemed slightly lighter to me which concerned me however I only had a 2 and a half hour hold cause I struggle to hold it recently and go many times a night.

I had a previous loss but my lines never got this dark this pregnancy is definitely darker but today’s just worried me, that and clear blue says 2-3 weeks should this not be 3+ now? I have a scan on Thursday.

Anyone had anything similar?

Those lines look plenty dark to me. These tests aren't really designed for line progression, they're more for saying if you're pregnant or not. They'll be fainter in the early stages, but beyond that, it's not at all an exact science. I'd tend to stop testing at this point as it's just going to cause anxiety 💕

For science I would maybe mix a little bit or water with urine in a cup and try another, this may be the hook effect xx

Your urine may just be a little more diluted. I wouldn’t be concerned ;)
Also it would be correct to see 2-3weeks on the digital as they date from conception not from first day of your period. Just need to add two weeks onto that and that would make you 5 weeks pregnant :)) xx

Thank you! I keep telling myself I will stop but the anxiety takes over like it will disappear over night haha. I guess this is pregnancy after loss anxiety! X

Potentially you could be right! Yeah so I calculated 5 weeks 2 day from ovulation not my period but I assumed that would be 3+ by now xx

Yes this happened to me. Some days looked slightly lighter then it would be darker again the next day.

I never got a 3+ even though my blood HCG levels were much, much higher than the supposed 3+ threshold!

I think darker! @Muddysocks1 I have a scan tomorrow so praying everything is okay but I believe I will only be 5 weeks 4 days so not expecting to see much!
