Hello, just want to see if there's anyone else out there that is/had the same experience as me. We've had multiple scans and so far it looks like an AVSD, we have further scans this week with specialists to deny or clarify this. I am worried for my baby, scared about them needing surgery or having down syndrome, Downs is apparently really common with avsd. My blood tests have shown there were low chances, there is still that possibility. This is my second pregnancy so it is already completely differently to my first, that was smooth running but every pregnancy is different. I can get a test to check for downs but it is super invasive and I don't want to risk losing my baby no matter how they're born.
Has anyone experienced this, was your baby ok? Did they need surgery? Did they have downs? I just want to talk to real people xx tia xx
