6 week 2 days but no heart beat!!

Am so worried, have a scan next week but how common is this?

I’m so sorry you’ve not seen your little one’s heartbeat yet. I had the same thing happen to me in December and I must have read every forum on the internet asking the same question.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anything reassuring. Every pregnancy is different.

Between 5-6 weeks the fetal heart starts beating and can be seen from 6 weeks onwards via ultrasound.
You are right on the early side for a scan. So I would say there is definitely a chance of going back next week and seeing a heartbeat! But,
I would guard your heart until then that this pregnancy may not progress. I’m praying for you that it does! Xx

Hiya I’m sorry you’re going through a worrying time, I had an early reassurance scan yesturday at 6+1 and no fetal pole was seen, only the pregnancy sac and yolk sac. She said that I’m likely around 5+5 and it is not abnormal not to see more this early, I have booked to go back next week. Praying to see a healthy foetus and heartbeat and I hope the same for you, try not to panic it is still very early and difficult to see on a scan xx

I had my first scan at 6 weeks 2 days and saw no heartbeat, literally a shadow beside the yolk. Two weeks later I had a rescan and I had gained 4 days and had a lovely heartbeat!

At that age it's a grain of rice in size, so can be hard to see! So don't lose hope.

I have had this go both ways, unfortunately. It's so hard but there really is no knowing yet how this is likely to turn out.
Best you can do is keep busy during the early weeks x

Hey guys! Thanks for reply. I don’t have much hope, my clear blue digital tests have went down to 1-2 weeks from 2-3 weeks didn’t get a 3+.

i have literally became crazy googling and searching for hope. My fetal pole measured 6.7mm cut off is 7mm the midwife yesterday say they should of seen a heart beat, but my nausea has ramped up today am gsgging constantly, I have had pains not period pains just flutters sort of this, and my boobs are sore more than they have been. Am just so confused am in on Monday at 2pm for a scan. Just so devastating my clear blue today and cheap tests still so dark and quick I even diluted a cheapy and still dark enough just the unknown that the worst. Xxx

Hope your pregnancy progresses and it’s a positive outcome. It is so early but you see such mixed reviews online some people see heart beat at 5 weeks good luck please let me know how you get in xxxxxx

I had this with the CB digital, went from 2-3 to 1-2 and then 3+ and then back down to 1-2 again now my DD is almost 2. Step away from the digitals, honestly.

Did it actually? This gives me some faith. Am guarding my heart not getting my hopes up and preparing for the worse, it’s been a week since that scan so I thought I would of started bleeding or showing signs of a miscarriage by now but am not so holding on to that also.

The digital test are pants! Your pregnant right now unless confirmed, try not to test. Do your rescan and you should know by then. I know it's hard though!

Thank you, you have literally said exactly what my husband has said. It’s just a stress and worry but yes he has taken the tests away, pity he couldn’t take google away. Trying to keep myself occupied and love on my children, really makes you see how lucky I am ❤️ thank you for taking the time xxx

My clear blue has went back up today ti 2-3 weeks 😩 so confusing xxxx

Sadly baby has stopped growing, 7w 5days, missed miscarriage, opted for the medical management there and then so am home now and waiting for nature very numb absolutely heart broken thank you for the support xxx

@appleofmyey so sorry to hear this :( I had a mmc in November and it’s heartbreaking. Wishing you all the best in your recovery & hope you have a good support network around you to lean on when you need xx
