Before I explain, I had a miscarriage back in febuary, so this pregnancy… as much as I’m trying to chill, is obviously a little bit more worrying. I know testing multiple times a day is most likely a silly thing to do but my anxiety gets the best of me sometimes. I just want everything to be okay, this baby is so desperately wanted.

The darker line on the test above was taken at 6.30am this morning. The second test that’s lighter was taken at 4.30pm. (Both taken on the same day)

I just got this urge to test… and now regretting it because it’s lighter.

Is this normal? To get a lighter test in the evening. I’ve now worried myself…. Just want some reassurance I guess.

Im 15DPO today :)

All is fine OP. It’s all to do with how concentrated your sample is. As hard as it will be, you must step away from the tests. You have had a positive test result, you know you’re pregnant. What will be will be. Nothing you can do now, just try to enjoy this precious exciting time. Wishing you all the best x

Of course it's normal, your urine is less concentrated later on!

Hey,

I had a miscarriage in December and I know exactly how you are feeling! I am currently 5w4d pregnant and I have tested every.single.day.

The anxiety is next level and to be honest testing everyday hasn’t helped. I’d say test again at 17dpo in the morning and trust that and try to be positive. I think that after loss it’s completely normal to feel this way and naturally be guarding your heart. Take one day at a time :))

You’ve got this ;) xx

I’ve also had losses so I can appreciate the anxiety but there’s a reason why you’re meant to use FMU, you can’t expect to take a test later on after much more fluid and urination and for it to be the same!!

Test every day if you must for the time being but stick to FMU once a day! When you see the lines consistently progressing switch to 48 hours and then start to phase it out.
