4dp5dt - mind in overdrive!

Hi, I’m new around here! I’m currently 4dp5dt, this is our 4th round of IVF and 3rd frozen transfer.
I’ve done the worst thing possible today - gave in and tested! - BFN! I don’t know why I tested so early, I guess I was praying for an early miracle?!
Now I’ve totally negged myself out!
I'm trying to stay upbeat but this journey is so hard!
If anyone is out there, I would love some positive stories of late BFP results. 😊

It’s far too early lovely.

adhesion (when embryo attaches) & invasion (when outer blastocyst cells penetrate uterus wall) doesn’t take place until days 3-5 post transfer so HCG doesn’t enter the blood stream until 6dpt. HCG may be high enough to detect 7 days post transfer, but even that may be a bit early.

Wishing you lots of luck 🤞🏻

Thank you so much for your reply! I’m super mad at myself for early testing!!! I promised myself I wouldn’t do it, but I buckled!!! I see so many stories of women getting early positives I got completely sucked in!
I am going to chill out now and try and wait until official test day! This is soooo hard! ❤️

I was also negative day 4 (I had been testing out my trigger throughout) and got an extremely faint line at 6dp. I’ve never seen anyone get a positive at 4dpt but seen many get them at 6, 7, 8, 9dpt. You’ve tested too early, it’s not over.
