Got a positive pregnancy test this morning

Me and my husband started to actively try for a baby last month. My period was supposed to be last week but it didn't arrive so I took a pregnancy test last week, test came back positive.
A week later, my period is still not here, so I tested again this morning.
Test came back positive (as shown in the picture).
It feels so surreal? We both thought that it would take months to finally conceive. Our friends around us all struggled to conceive and I was expecting it to be difficult for us as well.

I'm still in shock tbh. I am planning to take another test tomorrow just to make sure this is accurate.

Any tips/advice for a first-time mum will be appreciated :)

Congrats! Everybody is different. I thought I would struggle as all of my friends took over two years to conceive and we are all the same age… I fell pregnant first time also and it wasn’t even planned 🫣

Im also a FTM. Best advice is, drown out everybody else’s noise!

One thing I have noticed is people love to project their own experiences onto you!
