Hello!
just wondering if anyone has any experience with a low centile at 16 weeks?
i have one previous baby - he was always very high centile and was born at 8lb13 at 38w6d

the nhs have estimated a baby around the same centile / size this time , although baby seems to be measuring smaller.

I have been very worried since going for the scan that there must be an issue - I know I can’t find this out until the nhs scan unfortunately but hoping someone else has experienced something similar

thanks x

Remember that at 16 weeks you’re talking about the odd mm being the difference between 1st and 99th centile, and that the scans and not 100% accurate so it really is all best guess.

At birth babies can be as much as 25% out from estimated weights.

I know it’s easy to say, but worrying isn’t going to change any outcome. If your medical team aren’t worried, try to be reassured.
