Hey, I am 6 weeks pregnant on Monday, EDD 29th Dec. Is there anyone else out there around this gestation and fancy starting up a bit of a chat? 😍

The cramps have intensified and feel like contractions, I know where this is heading

Congrats all, I’m also around 5.5-6 weeks! A bit of a pleasant surprise and I have irregular periods so not entirely sure when I’d have ovulated to know for definite. Luckily have an early scan next week so hopefully know more then. This is my first so a lot of nerves and anxiety at the moment!

I am tempted to go for an early scan but am petrified my dates will be wrong and they won’t be able to see anything much which will just make my worry even worse 🫣

I did this in my last pregnancy and wish I never did, I went for a scan at 6 weeks, they pretty much said I’d probably lost the baby as they could only see the sac, I had to wait another 2 weeks to go back again and everything was fine

Oh I bet that was dreadful for you? I can’t imagine that roller coaster of emotion to then go back and everything be fine! Yeah I am not going to go until 9/10 weeks x

does anyone else have a toddler at home? I’m 6 weeks today and the tiredness is starting to hit I can feel it coming! In previous pregnancies first trimester exhaustion is sooo real I have no idea how I will manage with my toddler!! Or how I will finish work, collect the kids and do dinner bath bed etc, I am so excited for this pregnancy but oh my goodness it’s going to be tough! I had a bigger gap between my previous pregnancies so didn’t have to do so much playing/entertaining. Anyone got any tips or tricks to occupy the toddler?! - low effort for me but high energy for him 😂

Yeah it was horrible I was convinced I’d lost the baby, after that I swore I will never have an early scan again x

@flipflopflew doing okay. 7 weeks today got my date for my nhs scan today and booked an early scan in 2 weeks when I'm 9+ weeks, how are you doing? x

My EDD is 9th January. First pregnancy for me so all completely new... have been forever asking questions on this forum which has been a huge help :) Very excited.

So far symptoms fairly minor. Very tired (2 weeks ago I had to pull the car over and take a nap on a regular 2 hour journey I make for work as I felt so tired and that is when I suspected something was up) Sore boobs especially nipples, some cramping and occasionally feeling a bit iffy but all mild and manageable so far.

Trying to keep doing what I can while I still feel ok as I am very aware I could be floored at any minute. Trying to keep up my daily walks, started having a clear out and putting aside some clothes I potentially may still be able to wear with a bump through the winter... trying to get the house in order while still feeling fit enough as I don't know what to expect going forward.

This is all very new and I find myself reading as much as a I possibly can while also just taking it as it comes as it is still early days :)

I am 7+2 now and symptoms are manageable at the moment but I get bouts of palpitations which I find really disruptive and triggering. Saw my GP who wasn’t concerned and I know it’s normal in pregnancy but boy does it get on my nerves! I suffer with anxiety and panic attacks so am trying to keep it all at bay but when the palps start it’s so hard for me not to panic.
This is my second but I was pregnant 6 years ago so I have kind of forgotten what my pregnancy was like before! This pregnancy I feel is more of a worry as I will be high risk consultant led due to a thyroid disease and I am 37. Fear they are going to tell me I am geriatric 😂😂😂

I’m ok! Had a scary 24 hours - went for a private scan yesturday and there was nothing there just an empty gestational sac. Ended up going to EPU today where they did a transvaginal scan and saw a baby and heartbeat! Dating about a week behind but I wasn’t tracking ovulation so they said not to panic! Should be 7+2 today, measuring 6+2 xx

Hi all hope you’re all good!
I have been spotting since Wednesday, brown spotting. 2 scans and everything looks fine and normal, they can’t see a reason for the spotting but it’s driving me mad x

@Waitingforthesunshine24ah no, good that there's no obvious reason in a sense but I understand the frustration. Hopefully it stops soon.

Unfortunately I lost mine earlier this week 😞 feel so broken but going to take some time out before thinking of trying again x

@flipflopflew my dating scan is 23rd June. Feels ages away. 8 weeks this week tiredness is setting in been doing extra at work as someone has broken there ankle and it's telling on me. Excited for early scan next week and have first meeting with midwife too. How are you getting on in this heat?

Doing ok here, after last months loss I’m pregnant again and coming up to the week I always seem to loose the pregnancy so feeling anxious and scared but praying for a miracle, how are you?
