Pregnant - took expired medication

Hi all,
I'm in quite a panic. I’ve taken a rectal expired diclofenac last night instead of my progesterone pessary. The packets looked the same and I mixed them up.
Online it says don’t take any NSAIDS in pregnancy, especially if expired. I’ve rang the pharmacy and they’ve said it’s not ideal, but it should not cause harm being that I’m 12 weeks and all the organs are developed, however to inform my doctor at my scan next week.
Ive had four miscarriages and this is my Rainbow baby and the furthest I’ve ever got, I just cant relax about that it’s harmed my baby or will kill them. Sounds dramatic, but when you’ve been through multiple losses, it causes an awful anxiety.
any advice would be welcome. Thank you x

Firstly try to relax, although I know it’s hard. I myself took a course of antibiotics for a UTI during the very early weeks of pregnancy which wasnt ideal as it was folic acid inhibitor and I found myself worrying (everything was fine in the end and I’m almost 33weeks).
the nhs website says that Diclofenac can be used in pregnancy for short period of time if the benefits outweigh the risks which makes me think that 1 single table will most likely be ok.
sending well wishes that all is ok at your scan x

Try not to panic the bigger concern would be repeatedly taking it.
I would recommend dropping off the expires meds at a pharmacy for disposal so you can't make the mistake again. Try to relax but if it continues to play on your mind maybe give you epu a call when they are next open for a bit more reassurance.
I'm 19 weeks with my rainbow baby and was 7 weeks when I found I was expecting. I had 3 weeks of caffeine and alcohol on top of stress as I went through redundancy. The body is resilient! We just lose this faith a little bit after experiencing losses.

Take care.
