16 week appointment what is it for

All I have a 16 week appointment at the consultants at the hospital. Not entirely sure what it is for. My second pregnancy. Pregnancy 1 I was low risk but ended in EMCS. So I can only assume my 16 week app is to do with this? Am I now deemed high risk?
Anyone been in the same
Boat before and also what do they discuss at this app? I have a specific appointment at 20 weeks to discuss vbac V planned section

It’s just routine. They go through your bloods from your 12 week scan, check your blood pressure and depending on your trust, they will listen to baby’s heartbeat with a Doppler.

i was give all of my maternity notes at my 16 week app

Were you fully dilated when you had your c section? They need to check your cervix at 16 weeks if you didn't deliver vaginaly but we're fully dilated.

Just the 16 week midwife appt no?

I have had 2 emc and no consultant appt til birth choices meeting for 3rd baby. Also was 9cm dialated for second and no cervix check

Sorry I should have made clear no this on top of the 16 week midwife app. I have my 16 week midwife app on Thurs and the 16 week consultant app on Tues @Darkambergingerlily @Lulu89x
