Heavy bleeding and clots at 5 weeks

Went into A&E last night as EPU was not answering
I had mild cramps, heavy bleeds and clotting
Came home at half 5 this morning as the bleeding had calmed and went light
They saw no tissue on examinstion
But alot of blood clots
It could be a misscarriage
It could be a haemotoma
Have to come for a scan next friday
Im so anxious and not hopeful at all

Has anyone else experienced this with a positive outcome? I was certain i was having a misscarriage 🥺

I had huge bleeds from 5-21 weeks, clots, filling pads etc. I had a subchornic haemorrhage. Baby was born not long after the last bleed, however that was unrelated to the bleeding. She’s now 2 ☺️

Oh thats great news, im glad it all worked out! Did you have mild pelvic cramps also?

Are you still testing positive?

My cramps were really strong, many times I thought I had miscarried. I had really bad lower cramps and back cramps xx

I can still test positive up to 2 weeks so the doctor said
When they did bloods and a urine sample yesterday it was still positive

Its insane how the body works
Im not hopeful but ill be cautious until Friday

I hope everything is ok when you get the results it’s all so worrying. Iv had 2 miscarriages. One was chemical so tests faded. Other one my god a blighted ovum I remained positive for weeks 🤯
