Looking for reassurance 4 to 5 weeks pregnant

Hey everyone, i am looking for maybe a bit of reassurance?
I did a clear blue 2 weeks ago today which told me i was 2 to 3 weeks
Yesterday i noticied a little bit of spotting (only when wiping) I went to the EPU and had a scan which shows at the moment just a gestational sac
Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if they continued with a normal pregnany
Im so stressed

I bled on and off a fair bit in early pregnancy with my first DC. Things like sex can cause a (trauma?) to the cervix but it’s no harm to the baby or your body. Your body is changing a lot just now, thankfully tailed off around 9w with DC1. Keep an eye on any spotting and if in any doubt, phone maternity triage and they should be able to see you. I hope your pregnancy goes well!

Did you have any early scans that showed just the gestationsl sac?
I did have intercourse 2 nights before i started bleeding
But still have slight bleeding now but only when wiping

I had to have an early scan at the EPU because of a previous ectopic pregnancy. Scan at 5 weeks only showed a gestational sac. I was rescanned the following week and everything was on track.

Somehow by the 12 week scan I was measuring 13 weeks and my due date got changed. No idea how it works!

What did they say at the EPU?

Yes I did! One at 5+2 and one at 6+5, no baby in 5+2 but 10 days later baby started to develop. Sex can cause bleeding, I’m pregnant with DC3 now and sex still makes me bleed and I’m 25 weeks pregnant. Was there a sac and fetal pole? I can try add a photo of DC1 first scan and second and you can see the difference. Keep a close eye on the spotting, so long as it doesn’t turn into full blown bleeding I wouldn’t worry yet. I do understand how upsetting it is, is this your first baby? Are you getting any pregnancy symptoms?

EPU said the gestational sac was in the right place
I have anotger scan next friday
But it was the bleeding i was worried about

No fetal pole but they said i was about 5 weeks, if that
This is my first pregnancy

I understand your worry. Keep track of any bleeding and if it gets any heavier contact EPU.
