Blurry vision early pregnancy

I’m 11 weeks pregnant and for a week now I’ve had blurry vision in my left eye. I’ve been to the doctors and the hospital who have confirmed I don’t have diabetes or preeclampsia. They scanned my eyes and have told me they can’t see anything wrong. Optician has confirmed the same.

But there clearly is something wrong as my vision remains blurry. It’s not a change of prescription.

Has anyone else suffered with this during pregnancy and do you have any tips for how long it is likely to last/how to get rid of it?

It’s giving me headaches and is really impacting my day to day life

As well as checking for pre eclampsia did the opticians do a sight test? Pregnancy can really fuck your vision.

I had this early on from 7/8 weeks with headaches, but from 13 weeks both went away. My GP said it’s common and to just use OTC eye drops for dry eyes.

My eyesight actually corrected itself during my first pregnancy and I could stop wearing glasses altogether. I was mildly short sighted. Sadly it returned soon after giving birth! The only explanation I could come up with was the increase of fluids in your body with pregnancy raises pressure…more pressure in your eyes can alter your correction. This is a personal theory, I’m not sure I ever had it confirmed by a doctor. It wasn’t a complaint in any case!
