Aspirin during pregnancy- advice needed

Yesterday I got prescribed Aspirin to take during my pregnancy I’m just over 9 weeks. I took one whole last night as they only told me to take just one each day I only noticed afterwards that it said on the box to dissolve it in water? I had this before bed but drank a little bit of water after I had it. Is this okay that I didn’t dissolve it?

I don’t know if this I related to the aspirin at all but when I woke up during the night last night for a wee my head was pounding I fell back to sleep and woke up when my alarm went off about 4 hours later still with a bad head on the verge of a migraine and I’ve literally spent the whole day throwing up it’s not felt like pregnancy sickness it’s felt like having a bug sickness where I’ll be sick I’ll feel okay and then soon after my stomach churns again and I just kept bringing up all the water id had even if it was just small sips. I have passed anything loose or running the other end it’s literally just been horrible sickness. It stopped a couple of hours ago and I’ve finally been able to stomach a little bit of food and so far have kept it down. Has anyone else had this after taking aspirin as I’ve been absolutely fine for the past week and then after taking that aspirin before bed last night I woke up like this today.. ☹️

I did this and completely panicked and rang the hospital. They thought it was quite funny and just said remember to dissolve it next time. Baby is fine, asleep next to me! If you are ill I doubt it’s related the aspirin, could be a bug or something you’ve eaten. If you are worried though ring your hospital for reassurance.

🙄 is all aspirin meant to be dissolved? I definitely took them as tablets when pregnant with DC1. I mean she’s a crazy 4YO now and totally fine but this thread just made me think!

You can definitely get low dose aspirin tablets. I think you need to ask for them even though they are at a lower dose than the aspirin sold for headaches.

Could the sickness be a coincidence? Something you ate or a bug maybe
or your stomach reacting badly to certain food?
