Hello Girls
im currently 18 weeks, 4 days pregnant and been having quiet a few takeaways this week.. it’s my biggest pregnancy cravings!!! Will I be harming the baby?

Of course not. You still need a balanced diet and your folic acid but otherwise knock yourself out.

Yeah I always take my pregnacare tablets which have the folic acid in but the cravings are so bad for them! I never used to be a takeaway girl in till pregnancy haha

Go for it. I'd also 100% recommend takeaways post partum. I batch cooked too, and the first two weeks were easy when my partner was home, but after that two takeaways a week were the norm (and for us, energy wise, essential).

I am not a fan of takeaways for quality reasons anyway but I had even fewer in prgnancy because I was worried about hygine.
Same reason I refused to eat MILs OH's BBQs.
Risk is minimal though

Don’t know why I’m worrying so much I guess it’s just what the baby wants and I think because it’s my first pregnancy I just have to ask the questions

oh go for it I had one a week in first preg and my current one throughout . We deserve a treat!! I just wouldn’t order from the most unhygienic place just in case. I was at the McDonald’s drive through for lunches in first trimester when i had the sickness. It’s fine
