Wondering if I’m pregnant or not?

Hi,

I tested myself three days ago using a very cheap pink test, and both showed two lines—though they were a bit faint. Then I tried two Clearblue tests (the regular ones), and again, the lines were faint.

After reading so much online about faint lines and evaporation lines, I’m starting to feel unsure if I’m actually pregnant. My period is about four days late, and my breasts are extremely sensitive and sore.

Should I take another test? This would be my first pregnancy, so I’m honestly not sure what to expect or do next.

They are all good positive lines! Congratulations!

I had a faint line with my second pregnancy, very faint, difficult to see and it didn’t get any darker but was still a healthy pregnancy. Your lines look good! You could also try a digital test if you would like to see it say pregnant!

Judging by your tests, your symptoms, and your late period….I’d say its a pretty reasonable conclusion that you are in fact pregnant. Congrats (if it’s something you are happy about of course).

Definitely pregnant, your next steps are to get in touch with your GP about a midwife appointment. Just tell them you have found out you're pregnant and want to book in with the midwife, this wont come around until between 8 - 10 weeks of pregnancy, it will be your first appointment and they will ask you about any medical issues, childhood, and do your bloods and take a urine sample!

Congratulations! X

Thank you so much, that’s really helpful and reassuring! I’ll get in touch with my GP to set things in motion. It’s all starting to feel a bit more real now! Appreciate the kind words and guidance—exciting times ahead! X

Thank you so much, that’s really reassuring to hear! It’s amazing how even a faint line can carry so much meaning. I might try a digital test too, just for that little extra boost of certainty (and excitement!). Appreciate your kind words and encouragement! Biscuit
