Low blood supply through cord

Hi just looking to hear anyone’s stories of anything similar. I’m 32 weeks and had a few episodes of reduced movements (thought i might have been just over cautious) but got checked anyway. They offered me a scan, so i had one and they said the baby had dropped from the 64th to the 24th centile and that the blood supply going through the cord was low and not functioning the best so the baby was having tp work quite hard.
They have told me to go back in a week to repeat the blood flow check withe a doppler, and then a scan the week after to check it on that.
Has anyone ever had the same? Never even heard of an issue with the cord/ blood supply before. This is my second pregnancy and was induced first baby with reduced movement so que the panic!

It's common for them to check the blood flow for this exact reason in pregnancy.
I'd imagine you'd need inducing if baby is struggling to grow.
What did the doctors say would be your next steps?

I had this. I was very closely monitored from when it was discovered and at 33 weeks they decided the baby would be better off out than in. They also said she would be too weak to survive a vaginal birth. I had a section at 34+0 which was the first date a nicu cot was available. I hope all goes well for you.
