Just been for a 16 week scan as they suspected an amniotic band at the 12 week scan. The scan today has confirmed a small amniotic band of around 2cm fairly close to the placenta. The sonographer was fairly reassuring and said it’s in a good position and unlikely to cause any harm and I’ll get more regular scans to keep an eye on things. Feeling a mix of anxiety and reassurance as I know it could be a lot worse but would prefer not to have at all! Does anyone have a similar experience?
