Opks and timing for sex

Hi all,

first cycle post mc.

I had peak fertility yesterday on CD32 at 7am with first morning urine .. finally after testing twice a day!! Usually ovulate day 20/21. I started getting ovulation pains by the evening which I get every time I ovulate . I am still getting them today so thought id take a regular opk and it was also positive. We had sex CD 25,26,28,29,31,32 and today this morning at cd33 too.. we’re exhausted haha. But my question is do we still need to do it tonight/ tomorrow? When do we stop? 😂 looking online it says ovulation occurs between 12-36 hours after the very first positive but if I’m still having these o pains I feel I haven’t od yet? They’re pretty strong too.

So I would do the peak day which is usually the day before ovulation, and the day after peak which is ovulation day. After that I didn't bother as the chances of the sperm getting to the egg before it either died or came out of the fallopian tube was small. So I think you've covered the important days. The time we finally got pregnant and it stuck, we DTD on peak day after three days of abstinence. There’s a reason IVF clinics tell the dad not to do the deed for a few days before egg collection!

We only dtd the monday and Wednesday night and ovulated the Friday and I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant. I heard doing it too much isn’t always the best! Every other day in your fertile week! Also it’s best to have the sperm there waiting so definitely peak day is the best. I got pregnant last December ended in a miscarriage in Feb but we dtd the night before I got my peak so I guess it just varies but it does seem like you’ve covered yourself

I guess if it doesn’t work this month I’ll try every other day and peak day. Maybe we have been doing it too much.

Just thought I’d update that cycle four was successful. I finally ovulated cd 33/34 and I am now pregnant. Early days so I’m really stressing but praying 🙏 everything works out.
