Chemical pregnancies?

So boyfriend and I started TTC the last two months and coincidentally, my periods have gone strange since and think I may be having a chemical.

(I've not been on any hormonal contraception for years, we were only using barrier.)

Last month my 'period' came at day 32, a few days later than expected and it was pretty much spotting for 9 days with only one day of bleeding, bfns and really really bad cramps.

Then fast foreward another month and I got what I thought was a bfp a few days ago on a clear blue however I know these are notorious for false positives/evaps.

Today I am day 32, and noticed last night I started spotting brown discharge. since this morning have had my usual period pains all day and have been bleeding but very lightly with a mix of clear sticky discharge and brown/pink/specs of blood yet the pains make me expect to see a full on heavy period. I'm just so confused.

My periods have never been like this before and now with a seemingly positive test, I'm wondering if I've had two months of chemicals?

Just reaching out to see if anyone has had similar experiences?

I've also booked in with the doctor to see if I've got some hormonal imbalances

Thanks xxx . .

It's hard to say as experiences will be different. I've had later miscarriages and a chemical in feb. With the CP I had clear positives and a positive digital that got darker for a few days before getting lighter and then negative. A few days later I then had what felt like a normal period. Then went on to ovulate 2 weeks later and am now 7.5 weeks pregnant again. I think if it was just one positive you got it may have been a false/ evap. But if you had a few it may have been xxx
