Definitely positive?

Hi all

I randomly woke up wanting to do a pregnancy test today. I'm 6 days late but that doesn't mean much as I have pcos. This came up instantly - it's not the strongest by any means but is this definitely positive!? I don't want to go and waste money on a digital. I did another 7 hours later, same brand, same box and it's negative.

Really? It's pink! Came up within seconds. This is another pic (I took loads just with slightly different lighting)

I’m sorry, I just don’t think that looks like a positive test. I would give it another week if you can’t be sure on your dates with PCOS and try again. I appreciate it’s frustrating.

Huh, weird! That's why I posted here. Tbh with both my children I caught it very early and they looked very similar to this and I'm known to have slow climbing HCG. I feel off too so I'll do one again in the morning - thanks for the input

However it could've been diluted if you've drank enough. I'd test again tomorrow first thing in the morning with FMU and see what happens. Good luck!

My hubby and I do too, it's hard over photos isn't it? I can promise it's pink. I don't know how to show that it is haha. Now it's dried it's purple just like the control line but just much lighter. I haven't drunk very much today but I know I have slow rising HCG and we only did the deed once around ovulation which was 2 weeks today! You'd think I'd know what I'm doing with having 2 already. I had a chemical in December which was sad but hopefully this is a sticky one! Thankyou fo your input, if/ when I do a digital I'll try to remember to upload it in case anyone else comes across the thread 🥰

I can see a faint line. I'd also like to add that those tests are complete and utter sh*te. Even though I had very obvious positives with the Easy @ Home tests and Clear Blue tests, the tests you use were always very negative/faint for me! No idea why.

Get yourself some Easy @ Home tests off Amazon - the pink ones. They are pretty accurate (contrary to the insane amount of threads we find on here where people cling onto tests way beyond the 5 minute time frame and complain of false positives/evaps/indents). They detect as little as 10miu HCG. As always, use first morning urine to test!

Not convinced by the line either sorry op. I’d definitely use the pink cheapies from Amazon.. I’d expect it to be a little darker 6 days late too but appreciate your pcos so ovulation day may not be typical x

Yeah these are just the cheap Amazon ones. Never done me badly before so I'm holding out hope! I don't buy the blue dyes now because they're actually awful for shadow lines but I've got the digitals today (cost an absolute fortune). I'm going to try and hold out til tomorrow morning 🙈

Ah yeah - I always go by the lines in the time frame, I only keep them if I see one haha. I'll get some of those you suggested though, thankyou!

Okay thankyou! Hopefully it's just very faint from being early. These are cheap ones from Amazon but I've got digitals to do🥰

I did digitals and both said negative :( I think I just got a dud test! I'm gonna leave it a couple of days and do some easy at home ones as suggested! Gutted but it's okay as it would have been extremely unexpected

True! I did an easy at home just now and nothing. I truly think it was a dodgy test! Oh well - hopefully another time 🥰
