Is anyone else at their due date or over and completely tired of waiting for Labour to start?
I have 3 days until my due date.
I know that babies come when they’re ready and I know she will be here before I know it but I’m so tired of wondering if every symptom I have is Labour starting.
then people ringing or texting me asking if their has been any signs yet etc.
im so tired and achey and over being pregnant but I’m really trying to be positive! I’ve spent the morning on and off crying because I am exhausted with it!

does anyone have any positive, uplifting advice to help me get through this last stretch?!

Just to say I feel exactly the same! I’m 40 + 5 today and tired of all the messages and expectations, I feel like I’m failing because she isn’t here. I’ve had a good cry this morning and gone out for a walk and I do feel better for it!

I’m a first time mum trying to avoid interventions if possible and my midwife said on average first children are around 10 days late so I’m trying not to be too hard on myself. I’ve loved pregnancy so much but I am at the point now of feeling ready to not be pregnant anymore.

Is there anything you really enjoy doing that you can do to keep yourself busy?

I’ve had a walk and put some music on this afternoon to try and make myself feel better!
im just so tired at this point.
I’ve planned to watch a film tonight and have a pamper in the hope it will lift me up a little bit and keep me busy.
I hope you aren’t waiting too much longer 💕 we are so nearly there!!

I had this last time - thoroughly miserable by 38 weeks, acid reflux, pelvic girdle pain, tired, and so bored of being pregnant. Also I was just at the point where I wanted the LO out so that their safety wasn’t solely my responsibility - monitoring kicks, etc, was stressful! So just to say that I get it, it’ll be over soon. In the meantime, do some fun things, enjoy the sunshine, watch TV, do whatever you like because things are about to be very different for a while.

And maybe kindly tell all the well-wishers to back off and you’ll let them know when there’s news!!
