Potty shot - is this a boy?

I went for a gender scan at 15 weeks and was told baby was a boy, I have since posted my scan and it received a lot of attention from people saying it looked like a swollen girl to them. I have my 20 week scan soon enough but just curious to know some more thoughts and see some examples of other gender shots! Thankyou x

IMO that’s an early boy… and I’ve had four of them 😅

This was my girl between 15&16 weeks ☺️ we were told boy at this appointment 🙈

My SIL was told girl, then boy, then boy, then girl. She was still 50/50 until baby was born, a girl 😅 always made me dubious to get gender scans ha! Definitely looks like a little boy to me though x

We were lucky that the manager of the scan place picked up on it when prepping our usb. So called us in as soon as she realised x

So many stories of places getting the gender wrong 😂 I actually didn’t know what I was looking for so when people were telling me to get a rescan as it looked like a swollen girl I called the scan place and they said another sonographer had looked at the scan again and was ‘1000% no doubt in her mind sure it’s a boy’! I’m dubious as they told my best friend her baby was a boy ‘99% sure’ and she sure enough came out a girl 😂 xx

My girl came extremely premature and I had to double look, she hadn’t quite grown into her bits. She was a very swollen girl 🙈

Yes this happened to my friend too! 🤣 she came out and my friend said ‘why is she a boy’ 😂😂x

I just had the same confusion with my scan at 15+3! Was told boy and loads of people said it looked like girl but I went back for another scan at 16+5 and they confirmed it was a boy but yours looks more ‘ burger’ 3 lines than mine did! I’ll add both photos xxx

Wow I really would have been one of the people telling you the first scan was a girl! The difference in a week is insane! I’m having a scan in 2 days so hoping I’ll get some good clarity and it’ll be more clear 😂 x

@mummamoo96 I know I was so confused I had more photos looking like girl too but second scan definitely is a little boy! Good luck and please update us! 🩵🩷

It’s weird as I can defo see the 3 “hamburger” lines that little girls have in the last photo. I’d honestly say it was a girl, or maybe just too early to defo confirm a boy! A lot of places do wait till 16 weeks to do the gender scan as a week can make all the difference. I’d try to see if they can rebook you, or possibly (if you can handle the wait 😂) ask for a confirmation at your 20 week scan
