Morning sickness - is this normal

I’m around 6 weeks pregnant.
For the last week, I have felt absolutely horrendous.

I feel sick literally all day long. If I exert myself (and by that I mean doing the dishes), I feel like I’m about to keel over and often have to stop halfway through. I’ve barely been able to do anything for days.

Is this normal?! I Don’t recall feeling like this in my other pregnancies.

Yes OP but please contact Dr or midwife to make sure & put your mind at rest.

I had terrible nausea even earlier in my pregnancy - even walking gave me motion sickness and I was sick twice in full public view.

I also couldn't be in the kitchen and would be sick after getting the shopping in as so much food made me feel very nauseous.

In hindsight wish I'd had anti sickness tablets but they were never offered.

I was horribly sick from weeks 6 to 16. Just like you described there, any small task felt like I’d run a marathon. I got xonvea from the doctors and still take it now at 23 weeks, it’s a god send. I still get very queasy and if I’m slightly late taking a pill, I feel really sick, so I feel without the xonvea I’d still be vomiting loads.

Thanks both. I’ll try and get some anti sickness tablets from the Doctors. I take anti-epileptic medication as well, so they did offer me the anti sickness tablets in case I couldn’t keep my meds down.
I stupidly said no as I didn’t feel sick at the time..regretting that now!!!
