This is my second pregnancy (first ended in mc at 5.5 weeks) I'm currently 9 weeks with this pregnancy and I've got awful lower abdominal bloating, it's so firm, I also need to constantly wee, as in literally every 2 minutes but I never feel like I completely empty, it's also painful to sit upright and lie down. Went to the doctors and they guessed UTI and gave me a weeks course of antibiotics, I've been taking them 3 days now and really no improvement. Are these symptoms normal? Is everything going to be okay, totally panicked after last time. I've had no bleeding and we did have a private scan at 6 weeks so I know it's not ectopic either. Help anyone I'm going out of my mind 😔😔 xx

It does sound like a UTI, it may be worth contacting your midwife as they are usually better than the GPs when pregnant. If you’re not getting better and you are worried, trust your gut. Speak to a midwife or call the EPU. Although it’s hard, try not to worry. Bloating is completely normal in pregnancy and hopefully the antibiotics will kick in soon: but if my pregnancies (successful and unsuccessful ones) have taught me anything , it is “trust your gut”
you got this, best of luck xx

Does sound like an UTI - Any issues with your bowel? Any constipation/ trapped wind etc? This has been the cause of most of my discomfort.
