I’m so worried, I’m getting more left sided cramps,I wouldn’t say pain, it’s more a dull feeling.

Has anyone else had more left sided cramps and everything is okay?

I want this baby so much.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yes I had something like this in the early weeks. The sensation felt like it was in my ovaries as it was where I usually feel ovulation pains. I'm a worrier and feared it was ectopic but a scan at 6+5 confirmed everything was in the right place. Now I wonder if it was my corpus luteum. Wishing you the best!

catladypink · 20/04/2025 15:02

I hope that’s the case for me. I’m a worrier too.

I had this in my pregnancy and everything is fine. I think it’s normal to get lots of random cramps but call your EPU if you're worrying and they can reassure you.

Often left sided pain is gas/constipation related.

catladypink · 21/04/2025 09:15

I rang the EPU she said if you’re in serious pain go to A+E not helpful at all, I was constipated but now I’m having diarrhoea, I’m just worried something is wrong. Or it’s because of my IBS and feeling stressed. My anxiety is really bad.

It’s easy to say but hard to do but try relax.
There are so many strange sensations and cramps and weird feelings all through pregnancy. There is a lot going on in there and it does feel weird.

After a miscarriage I was very fortunate to work with some wonderful earth mamas when pregnant again and although I did worry and overthink sometimes they really enabled me to feel the joys of pregnancy - the highs of the hormones etc. congratulations and if in doubt always check with your midwife / mfau

catladypink · 21/04/2025 16:30

I’ve spoken to the EPU they’re useless.

@catladypink I'm also 5 weeks + 2 days and I've had the exact same thing. My boob's randomly stopped hurting unless I press them. I'm also a worrier, it my first pregnancy and I'm 40 so everything feels more at risk. I've got an early scan booked for 8 weeks, I looked at booking one for 6 weeks but have read that sometimes they can't see anything, which I think would make my anxiety worse. These first weeks are so tough x

catladypink · 21/04/2025 20:28

Hey Chloe I’m 5+3 today. I’ve had boob pain on and off as well. I had a scan at 8 weeks with my last baby. This will be my 3rd baby and I’m 37 soon 😵‍💫😂.

Yes 8 weeks is a good time for a scan, I saw a heartbeat at 8 weeks.

I’m up all night going to the toilet, are you?

OP posts:
ChloeG84 · 22/04/2025 14:52

I get up a couple of times a night to pee, and seem to be doing at least two Number 2s a day too (😂 sorry TMI but it’s unusual for me) also needing a nap most days

catladypink · 22/04/2025 15:00

I can’t nap I have a 4 year old to entertain, glad his back at nursery today the last 2 weeks I’ve been very irritable, the mood swings as well 😂.
