When did I conceive

Hi So I know I’m pregnant, I have many many tests all confirming this. I believe I ovulated around the 1st March having had unprotected sex on the 26th feb. I had a very faint positive clear blue on 11th March and bled on 16th March - just thought it was an evap line. I didn’t have unprotected sex after this (we used condoms) but got a 2-3 week result on the day of my expected period this month, 12th April. Is it possible this is a pregnancy from when I thought I conceived in early March given the bleed? It lasted 5 days like normal and didn’t really pay any attention to whether it was lighter than normal. I’m 38 so I’m expecting my periods to start being off due to my age, my cycles are currently around 25 days. I booked an early scan on the 12th April but the sonographer referred me to EPAC and I have another scan due on the 30th April. Just thinking if this was a conception from early March she would have seen the pregnancy. Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience?

Based on my quick calcs, if you ovulated on 1 March (LMP therefore circa mid-Feb), you’d be 9wks by now, 8wks when you had the scan - a sonographer should definitely have been able to see something if everything was developing normally (esp if vaginal scan?). By 8wks they can usually see an embryo, yolk sac and heartbeat.

So I think either you did conceive in that cycle and I’m sorry to say things haven’t progressed, which would explain the 2-3wks result when it should have been 3+ and the inconclusive scan; or you conceived later (around 1 April) and you were only 4wks (2-3 weeks per ClearBlue) when you had the scan, which would explain why they couldn’t see anything.

The scan on the 30th will tell you more; fx for happy news.
