Hi I'm currently 32 weeks and recently my 1 year old has been diagnosed with slapped cheek, he's in the stage of the red cheeks/red forehead. I've had a set of bloods to check immunity which I'm not immune but despite not being well the past week myself, my test has come back saying I haven't got it either as of right now. So Dr's are saying to retest in 4 weeks, which I'm quite anxious about as if my son has it surely I'm going to have it at some point and just thought they'd be scanning to make sure no changes with baby but he said protocol is to wait for the next set of bloods which I'll be 36 weeks by then and go from there. I'm just worried about my baby, I know its less dangerous later on but theres still a lot of risks. My boy is absolutely fine and has shown no real symptoms other than the other day when he was a bit lethargic and grizzly. When will he be okay to see other children too? Do I wait till the rash is completely gone? Anyone else been through the same scenario or similar?
