I had this, it was like the colour of tar at 4 weeks pregnant. Im 9 week and 5 days with a heartbeat! If your worried ring EPAU. How far along are you?

OP I would first of all take another digital test. So far most of your tests have been negative including a digital and you said the other day your bleeding was quite heavy flow almost like a period that also turned up around the time your period was due. Chances are that was your period. If you do think you might be pregnant I would look into getting a blood test to confirm either way.
Bleeding/spotting in early pregnancy can be very common. But heavy flow combined with negative tests normally unfortunately means not pregnant.

If you haven’t had a positive test then what makes you think it’s pregnancy related - surely this could be period blood/spotting/clots?

I have had what looked like a faint positive but i wasnt too sure as it was very early days, because my “period” i had this month was nothing like my previous ones it was a lot lighter with no clots and more brown than red and i did not experience any pains/ cramps which is unusual for me and i have been struggling to sleep mixed with headaches and craving ice cream :)

Your first thread was a week ago so I think if you were pregnant the test would be obviously positive by now unfortunately. Especially if you would be almost 5 weeks by now. The faint tests you had were likely awful evap lines. You said in another thread the bleeding you had was enough to fill a tampon. So I think the negative digital test combined with heavy bleeding means it was likely your period. Sometimes you’ll get a period which isn’t “usual”. It can happen. I’m sure plenty of the women on these boards know how much your body can play tricks on you when trying to conceive. Especially when it takes longer than you’d like.

Agree with PP. A different type of period is not enough to confirm a pregnancy, things like this just happen sometimes.

The line should be nice and strong now, no possibility of mixing it up with an evap. Take a digital or another one with a pink dye and go from there.
