5w3d - empty sac but line stealer?

Had a scan yesterday for suspected ectopic and she saw a sac in my uterus with a small shadowy speck of something but nothing clear enough to say if it was a yolk sac or not.

At 5 weeks exactly my HCG was 1500. I did a CB today and got a line stealer.

Any ideas?

Hi OP, I was under the impression that before 6 weeks is too early to see anything other an a sac. What did the sonographer say? Will you be going back in a couple of weeks to check again? Hoping all works out for you🙏🏼

5 weeks is too early to see anything else, you did well to see a sac. Congrats!

Hey maybe it’s a bit to early we have this as well we thought we was 9 weeks the scan showed we was only 5 and literally all we saw was the empty sack they sent us to the early pregnancy unit on the 9th week and saw our baby. Good luck 🤞

I had a scan at 5weeks 3 days due to strong pains.Ivf pregnancy.All they could see was a sac aswell even though my hcg taken that day was over 12,000.She is now nearly 2.x
