TWW Hell

Hi all,

I’m about a week in to the TWW, on CD19. I’m driving myself insane looking for symptoms but I’m pretty sure my mouth tastes a bit sour today but maybe im just coming down with something… anyway for those who have got that BFP have your symptoms been very obvious during the TWW or very subtle?

I had no symptoms, honestly symptom spotting only leading to stress

I had nothing at all when I was pregnant. You really need to relax as I’m a big believer in stress holds you back.

I think you often look back on things afterwards and realise they were symptoms but don’t realise at the time.

I’m nearly 37 weeks pregnant and I just realised today that a week
before my BFP I had a bit of an emotional meltdown because I accidentally punctured my daughter’s airbed and we needed it
for a holiday the next week. This is quite unlike me.

at the time I just thought I was anxious about the upcoming holiday but I realise now it was probably early pregnancy hormones!

I didn’t have many symptoms tbh felt like usual pre period symptoms but maybe slightly less than normal if anything! One thing I do remember looking back was really vivid dreams the week leading up to the positive test, when I usually don’t remember dreaming!

Thanks all, that makes me feel better. I’m driving myself mad and I should relax. I’m hyper aware of every twinge, but very feeling ever everything and it can’t be helpful! AF is due on Friday so one more week before I find out. I think testing early might be mistake, I think I’m just going to let my body do its thing and what will be will be!

i wasnt trying but i knew something was up when my heartrate just felt insanely quick when i was stood still doing nothing, got a few palpitations, and then about 2 days before i was due AF i got acid reflux which i’ve only ever had when pregnant!

@Onetotwo that’s so weird, I’ve been having mad pregnancy dreams every night! Of course it’s on my mind which I’m sure has a lot to do with it but I’d love to think that it’s something more biological than that :)

@Krazyurban yeah I remember dreaming about a positive test 2 nights a row and then the next night dreamt my period came 😂 other nights were just random dreams but very vivid! I put the dreams about tests down to the fact it was on my mind and took a test the day period was due fully expecting a negative as I hadn’t had many symptoms, and got a blazing positive 😊 10 weeks now, fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼

@skipdiddyskip it’s so hard to tell for me as I’m often very irritable and emotional hahah 😂. These are all so helpful and I appreciate everyone’s thoughts and experiences!

So with all the meds before my Fet i was already getting sore boobs, driving myself crazy after my transfer 7/4 so i decided to test on thurs got a very faint line , so ran and bought a clear blue digital which said pregnant 1-2 weeks , over the moon but just hoping its not a chemical 😕 due to bank holiday my hcg is not till tuesday morning, i am driving myself mad!!!! Tuesday cant come quick enough!!!

Yes. Quite a few days before a positive test (and I'm an early tester) I've had crazy insomnia for days for one pregnancy.
I will get what I call twinges, instead of mt usual TWW cramps that lead up to a period. Also get a tender belly.

@PennyPencils I’ve had something very similar! Dreams have been insane but over the weekend I was getting some very obvious pains in the centre on my pelvis, different from period pains and I’m not due for AF until Friday. The pains have seemed to dissipate today. I’ve taken a test and got a BFN though which is obviously disheartening. Hopefully the signs are there though and I’ve just tested too early. 🙏🏼

Sorry to jump on, this was on a test strip within the 3 mins opened it cause I’ve never even experienced a squinter before so was far too excited! But 13dpo fmu. It does have pink colour in person. Camera quality does diminish. What does every one think? Only tested cause I had a dream of a positive pregnancy test last night! Will obvs retest tmoro am but don’t wanna get too excited if I shouldn’t! Haha

Anything that feels different to the usual run up is a good sign but I've been tricked many MANY times by this. More when I first started TTC for my now 2yo.
This time I'm less quick to think it's a symptom. But that tender belly and the sudden freaky insomnia for me have me thinking 'tell me what I know' to the blank tests for a few days until I get the line.

Another negative. Starting to lose hope. Hit a real low point today :(

How many DPO are you, do you know?

@PennyPencils I'm not 100% sure, but I think about 12DPO. AF is due on Friday so I think I'm just being impatient. I'm not going to test again until then, I'm driving myself mad.

Ah right. That would be quite late then.

@Krazyurban sorry to hear you got a negative . My bloods are 285 but they want to repeat them in 2 days the clinic said they are low 😕

Yes. I know it's possible and it happens. Depends if you know when you ovulated x

@40planningababy let us know how that goes, keeping everything crossed for you that they go up. I’m holding off testing until Friday or Saturday, still hopeful x
